Five common ball bearing greases were studied using a grease-on-paper test configuration, where the bleeding of is described by dynamics driving capillary pressure provided paper and its opposing counterpart in grease matrix. The Washburn-like model for extracting retaining pressure, determined affinity oil matrix, has proven to be applicable made various type thickeners base oils, can potentially contribute modelling stationary as well monitoring change properties bearing.
